Wedding Consultations

Design House of Flowers is a full service florist, special event and wedding florist based out of Lawrenceville Georgia. We are able to achieve the freshest and newest trends in floral design by using the finest elements. Unique rental props, luscious fabric and table linens, and beautiful blooms all combine to make your wedding a cherished event and treasured memory. Flawless events begin with a vision. Color, season, and personal style are some of the elements that go into custom floral design. With a wide selection of our seasonal styles and color palettes, we can create your vision.


1. Call or e-mail us to set-up an appointment for your initial consultation. The consultation will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. During this time, you will sit with our highly trained, professional designer and have the opportunity to share with us the vision of your wedding. Our professional designer will listen and then walk you through seasonal flowers, varieties of flowers, show you samples, photographs and develop your order.

3. Please fill out and submit our pre-consultation questionnaire. Filling out this form will help us define your wedding floral needs.
   
   
4. Please bring as many of the following items with you to the consultation as possible:
   
   
   1. Pictures of flowers and floral designs that inspire you. You can find floral photos in magazines, on the Internet or in books. If you come across pictures of flowers or floral designs that you do not like bring those pictures as well.
   
   
   2. Bring pictures of the bride’s dress and the attendant’s dresses.
   
   
   3. Swatches of the colors you are working with to build your wedding’s theme are very helpful.
   
   
   4. Bring a list of people you will need to supply with corsages and boutonnieres.
   
   
   5. Bring another person that knows the style and look of your wedding. A supportive fiancé, friend or family member can be very valuable in the decision making process.
      
      
5. Because we book a maximum of three weddings per weekend, our calendar fills very quickly. For that reason, we request a $100 deposit to hold your date no more than 14 days after the presentation of your wedding flower proposal. All dates are reserved on a first come first booked basis.
   
   
6. There is a $25 non-refundable consultation fee, which can be applied to your balance if you choose to book with us. (770)-277-0607.

Four weeks before the wedding a follow-up consultation can be scheduled. Any adjustments to the proposal will be discussed. The delivery timeline will be finalized.
